The Procurement & Supply Chain department is responsible for all purchasing activities of T-Mobile Netherlands. As Sourcing Manager Marketing you will be responsible for purchasing activities considering marketing. These marketing activities include purchasing media and digital business products.


We are looking for a results-oriented Sourcing Manager in marketing who will be responsible for the entire procurement of marketing commodities (which includes traditional offline and online media, content creation and production, market research and sponsoring). Ensuring the best value for your internal customers, conducting supplier management and interacting with T-mobile international is part of your job. You will work together in a team of sourcing managers.

Furthermore Sourcing Managers tasks include analyzing the supply base, supporting processes, procedures, performance metrics, and organizational elements. You will deploy commodity strategies including spend analysis, requirements planning, risk management, market analysis, strategy development, competitive bidding (RFx), supplier negotiations, supplier selection, contracting, supplier management, cost savings methodology, performance reporting, and proficiency with sourcing tools. You will work with business stakeholders to build consensus and alignment for sourcing projects, identify key stakeholders and collaborate, advise and influence (where appropriate).

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and coordinate a consistent supply strategy for marketing
  • Implementation of marketing goals
  • Develop, agree and implement concepts of competitive advantage
  • Report savings and project progress using procurement tools
  • Perform contract and procurement negotiations, draft master agreements and conclude them
  • Manage frame contract implementation and evaluate supplier performance
  • Perform internal and external benchmarks of the competitive situation and of key suppliers for the area assigned
  • Analyze and assess cost reduction and optimization potentials and initiate implementation measures

Requirements:You hold academic, HBO or equivalent degree in a relevant marketing or finance field and have at least 5 years of experience in a procurement position within the marketing area. Practical knowledge in the areas of sourcing and fulfillment and a solid contractual understanding are required. You are willing and able to go the extra mile and make the best deal for all parties.
